Summer get-away @ Acuatico, Batangas

6:29:00 AM

Arvin and I planned our trip to Acuatico at least a month ahead of time. We decided to go out of town on week days because as we all know places get too crowded during week ends. And yes, we did the right thing. The resort was not crowded. On our 2nd day, the pool was all ours! WINNER!

Acuatico Beach Resort is located in San Juan, Batangas. Its a 3-hour drive away from Manila.

The place is perfect if you're looking for a place to relax and unwind. It may be a bit pricey but based on my experience it was all worth it. We stayed in Infiniti Room B2. The rate was Php6,950 per night. The room was nice, everything you need is here. The only complain I had is the room was small. Also, the bathroom and the LCD TV were not functioning properly. We had to call them from time to time to fix it.

Upon arrival, we fixed our baggage then explored the whole resort. It was surprisingly beautiful.

The resort includes free use of Kayak and Pedal boat. They also have Jet Ski available.

The beach is not the best. Do not compare their beach to Boracay because definitely you'll just get disappointed. It doesn't have fine sand.
Camwhoring! :)

Woot!

On food: I also love their food!!! They serve breakfast and Dinner Buffet and for lunch usually served a la carte. By the way, Breakfast is already inclusive.

I recommend this place to couples and families who want to take a break from hustle and bustle in Manila. The place is also one of the favorite location for weddings. On our last day, there's a wedding event and the resort was closed for guests. I'm pretty sure that was such a nice and romantic wedding.

You can check their website for wedding pegs of the couples who had their wedding in Acuatico. Nice beach wedding! I'm hoping someday too. Hehehe!

We'll surely go back here. I'm giving this resort a rate of 4. ☺

How to get there:
If you're going to commute you can take a bus (Alps liner) in Kamias, Quezon City to take you to San Juan, Batangas. The fare is Php188. From San Juan, take a tricycle and it will take you 30mins from San Juan to Laiya. The fare is Php300. Yes, you read it right! Php300 for a tricycle to Laiya. Okay na sya kasi malayo pa from San Juan. :)
